Anyone here like Disturbed? I do! I wanted to make this thread because I just heard their new song, The Light, and I really think they've outdone themselves! I didn't know they were capable of this light-inside-the-dark kind of music! It's hopeful and uplifting, unlike the bulk of their music. used to listen to their stuff, then they fell off my radar, but I'm really loving their new album. My favourite so far is Sound of Silence.
As you can probably guess from my signature, I'm a big fan of Disturbed and I personally think that their new album is the best that they've done. Oddly enough, I don't remember listening to this song when I listened to the album, but it's a great song with a sweet music video.
Ikr! the music video is great. The best part of it is the singer. He's pretty dreamy And he has the most amazing presence.
I've heard that song, too, and I really liked it. I like "The Vengeful One" better, myself, but honestly, anything by Disturbed sounds good to me.
The Vengeful One was great! Open Your Eyes was even greater, though! ^_^ It's so darn catchy, when I heard it I turned the volume up to max when the chorus came and was like headbanging while sitting here in my bed at 5 AM in the morning, haha. I also noticed they seemed to have experimented a lot on this album. I think it didn't really go all the way in some places, but that it was generally a great success! \m/
And Who Taught You How To Hate is really, really great!!! I love the perspective he has, that hate isn't something inherent or "human nature", but that it's actually something nurture has done. ^^ I like that
Never been a huge fan of Disturbed, though, there's a few classic jams of theirs I do enjoy. I can appreciate them for what they are, but they just don't really do much for me. I'm more into metal and less into hard rock. Interesting song structure, though. Definitely different.
Hmm... they've always been too soft for my taste, and this is even softer than their previous hits... ;.; I'm glad other people enjoy it, though~ ^.^
O god, I now cant stop listening to Sound of Silence! I also love Down with the Sickness and The Light! They are really good!
Pretty damn good, while I"m not the hugest most COLOSSAL Disturbed fan of all time I have to say I enjoy this new sound of theirs way lots.
Disturbed has been a favourite for years, very glad the break was so temporary. I also haven't listened to the new album yet, but I definitely like it. I'm learning The Venegeful One for karaoke. Something about David's voice in this one harkens back to like The Sickness album? Can't place exactly what it is, just something about the tone maybe?
