Hello, Okay, so I love GLEE, even when it's having it's low points, it's still quite good. But I was watching serise 5 and it became evident in "The end of Twerk" [which, by the way, makes a really good point of twerking] anyway ... that Sue Syvester hates Unique [who she calls Wade, he] for being transfemale. I was watching serise 6 episode 1 "Loser Like Me" which says she kicked all transvestites [cross-dresser] out of the school. However, I was watching serise 6 episode 3 "Jagged Little Tapestry" and she was really supportive of Coach Beiste whose transmale. So - for anybody else who watches GLEE - what's Sue's standing here? Yeah, I know this is a TV show, but had me really confused.
im not exactly sure sue is just a hateful person in general. even though i have always (and continue to) dislike her i try to focus on the the rare but good little things she does.
Perhaps her stance changed over time. I think Sue really did care about Coach Beiste. Maybe that's what it took to change her mind.
Honestly I just think she likes to confuse people. Or maybe she's transphobic but couldn't find herself to be cruel to Beiste. She does have definite soft spots (like Becky Jackson) and I've noticed that Kurt seems to be another. I think she doesn't quite have it in her to be cruel to people who are marginalised.
