I love Tim Burton. Can't quite figure this movie out based on the trailer.

  4. The movie is based on the British novel of the same name, first released in 2002. I read it a while ago, and it very good. For that reason, along with Tim Burton working on the film version, I plan on seeing the movie when it comes out.

it's supposed to be a mixture of stop motion and cgi animation, which sounds like a cool combination.

Tim Burton had absolutely nothing to do with this film. Yup, it's true. Coraline is from Henry Selick, who made James and the Giant Peach and The Nightmare Before Christmas.

okay and here is where it gets confusing. Tim Burton did not make The Nightmare Before Christmas. He was only a producer. He also wrote the poem it was based on and created the characters. The director on that film was Henry Selick.

Too bad Coraline doesn't come out for a few months where I live.

Well I saw it a whiiiile back, and I loved it ^^
I still have the glasses too, they were real d 3D, and they weren't colourful or anything, which was easier on the eyes

at least it wasn't something like My Bloody Valentine which probably had knives chucked at the screen or something, Coraline had subtle effects that made it a lot better to look at

I recommend it, just don't bring babies please, I was sitting next to a woman with her kid and I swear, she was feeding it, burping it, and whatever else possible, it drove me insane >___<
