Wanna get a copy of the blue monday 12" single, and I also have a copy of new order (self titled) on loan to me until about mid to late march, but I've not listened to it yet...

I haven't listened to very much Joy Division, but of New Order, I love True Faith, 1963 and Blue Monday.

I was a huge fan of Joy Division and New Order (at least the earlier albums) in high school. The fever's gone now.

Yep, a huge fan here, especially in high-school/college. I have most of the Factory releases of Joy Division on vinyl, Unknown Pleasures, Closer, Still, and the 12" singles, Transmission, Love Will Tear Us Apart, Atmosphere...and then, most of the New Order albums/ EPs up to Low Life. And some bootlegs/picture discs. God, I was such a fan-boy! I need to get my turntable set up; we just moved, and my album collection is in storage. Me and my partner (well, husband, now, met in college, in 1986, and he even got to see New Order live, back then...I'm still jealous!). Both of us have been huge record collectors, which has been fun, but geez...they are no fun when you move!

I don't listen to them as much as I did back then (which seemed like all the time ), but they will always have a huge place in my having become who I am.

Edit: writing this makes me feel ancient...but no worries, I've simply refused to get old!

Love Joy Division though I wouldn't say I'm the most knowledgable of fans. I want to get into New Order more as well. One of my best concert experiences was watching Peter Hook and The Light play Joy Division and New Order songs live!

I haven't heard their stuff in a long time, but I dig 'em. "Dead Souls" is my favorite track so far.

Think Closer was a good album, but Unknown Pleasures never was my thing. I respect what they did, and used to listen to them regularly... Not anymore, just some singles now and then...

I saw 'Closer' the biopic, was quite well done in my opinion.

I prefer New Order... Yup, I'm 'one of those'. Fav track right now is ''True Faith'. I haven't heard any track I'd say I dislike from New Order, they were a very good band in their own style.

YES YES YES, both, and goth/post-punk/synthpop in general.

I love New Order. Especially their songs 1963, Shellshock, and Sub-culture. I've heard a few songs by Joy Division on YouTube, but I think that doesn't really qualify as being a fan of them
