First thing you need to know about drawing anime is

    1. Know how to draw the human face. Proportion is EVERYTHING!! I cannot stress how important this is! If you don't want your characters to have a weird looking face then that's your first step. Then you can start drawing the typical anime/manga style. Learn how to draw the human body too. The male and female bodies are very important when it comes to drawing manga/anime. An easy way to draw the body is to draw it in shapes and sketch it out before just going in and drawing a head, the neck, torso, etc. You'll be able to draw poses and things of that sort once you've mastered drawing the human body.

    2. The second thing you'll need to learn is how to draw clothing. How it folds, wrinkles, and creases. Most people (including myself) when they start drawing just draw clothes and it looks stiff and unnatural. If you take a look at other people's work from when they first start out, it's not the best. But the point isn't for your work to look professional off the bat.

    3. The other thing I think would be most beneficial is learning how to draw perspective. First learn how to draw different objects at various angles and then you'll be able to construct the human face from any angle you'd like instead of them looking right at you or "the camera" so to speak.

I've been drawing anime/manga since I was in eighth grade. So that would be about 8 years. It took a lot of time and 99% of the time I was frustrated with my work but in the end you'll get better at it

Here's a list of some videos on Youtube. Check out Pinterest and Deviantart for in depth tutorials and how to images as well.
