    oh, the art style is adorable!! thank you for recommending!

    for anyone looking for more lgbt manga, you should check out Wandering Son ('Hourou Musuko' in japanese). it's about two trans kids. it's calmer and also a lot longer than Hanayome wa Motodanshi, but very good and quite popular too. i haven't had the time to read it yet. they also turned it into an anime, but i've heard it isn't as good as the manga.

    Hourou Musuko is great too, and it is already completed, so that is a bonus.

    I also recommend Bokura no Hentai: Bokura no Hentai Manga - Read Bokura no Hentai Manga Online for Free

    Story about 3 person who dress as girl for different reason: a gay boy who crossdress because his abusive lover want him to, a boy(?) who crossdress as his(?) sister for the recognition of his mentally unstable mother, and a trans girl who struggle to fit in.


    However, I think Hanayome wa Motodanshi has its charm of being super cute while not glossing over realities of being transgender. Some of the other stories feels heavy at times. Too bad it is going to be really short, just 1 volume and 9 chapter detailing the mangaka's own experience in her life.
