Is anyone here a fan of the music of John Carpenter? He's a film director who did movies like Escape From New York, The Thing, They Live and most famously the original Halloween. I'm not a huge music person and music isn't terribly important in my life but his stylings have always touched me. I haven't heard a lot of his scores, but I was so close to getting his lost works on vinyl last summer, and so bummed I missed out on that opportunity.
