In the last 24 hours I have watched mamma mia, hairspray, the sound of music and Walking on sunshine... I love musicals and movies with singing involved... Anyone else??
Omg, yes! Musicals are basically my life. I can't pick a favorite but I have a list: Rent, Peter Pan, Avenue Q, Seven Brides For Seven Brothers, Funny Girl, and West Side Story
I like being in musicals? The few I have seen I have enjoyed though, but I am usually part of the musicals in my school and I enjoy those a whole lot! It's fun creating something like that out of nothing.
I actually went to see a production of Bugsy Malone this week, it was incredible. Love a good musical.
I love musicals in all their forms (stage, video etc.) I do have to say that the adaption of 'Little Shop of Horrors' is a massive favourite and its stage version is coming to my town soon!
*bursts into this chat sinning and dancing with glee* I absolutely love musicals. Whenever im having a shit day, I sit down and watch a few. I love being in them, they are just so fun and I love to entertain people while im having a heap of fun I would say my favourite jukebox musical is Our House (the Madness musical omg its amazing I neeeed it to tour to Aus PLEASE its just so English I love it) and I cant choose between Little Shop of Horrors, Chicago, Avenue Q and Reefer Madness for originals. So excited as Little Shop of Horrors is coming to my city YESSSS Ohh man now I need to go watch one ive already procrastinated enough through today damit...
Yes, top three; - Annie - Mary Poppins - Sound of music Other ones I like; - Mama Mia - Hairspray - Moulin Rouge Need to watch; - Chitty Chitty Bang Bang - Rocky horror picture show - Bed nobs and broom sticks
*GETS YOU OVER TO A TV* OOHH MMYYYYY ROCKY HORROR IS AN EXPERIENCE THAT YOU HAVE TO SEE ITS SOO GOOD :icon_bigg ITS A MUST WATCH Also Bed nobs and Broom sticks is a childhood favourite of mine, I love it so much. Eeee the childhood memories of watching it on VHS and waiting for the tape to reset to the beginning so I could watch it again
If you can see Rocky Horror with a ton of people, I think that's the best way to go. I've only seen it once--a midnight showing at my university on Halloween--because it just doesn't sound like as much fun by myself. I love musicals, although there's a lot I haven't seen yet. Hamilton is my favorite. If you haven't listened to it because you think it's not your thing (I didn't until my girlfriend sent me a pair of songs), try it anyway.
Hell yes!!!! There's a local theater that has a series of musicals every year, and I'm going to see How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying in a couple weeks. Never seen it before and I'm looking forward to it!
The day I came out to my mom I went and saw Fun Home that night. I have seen more musicals on Broadway than I can count, but that was the best one because I bought the ticket as a reward to myself for finally being fully out to my mom.
*laughs nervously* Er...well... maybe. :icon_wink You could say that. Yeah, admitidly I'm quite a big fan of Musicals. :icon_redf I have the soundtracks of Grease,Hairspray, Rent, Avenue Q and Mama Mia running through my head most of the time these days. It's funny because one of my close friends hates musicals, and the other (like me) loves them.
I love musicals and I absolutely want to see The Rocky Horror Show one day. I've watched The Rocky Horror Picture Show like 15 times. They played the original musical in a city nearby my city some years ago, but my parents thought I was too young.
i adore musicals some of my favs are Avenue Q, Fun Home, Les Mis (2012 film version), Moulin Rouge, Book of Mormon, Spring Awakening just to name a few
I'm not huge into them or anything, but I've always wanted to be. My favorite right now is probably Heathers the Musical. I also love Les Mis, Chess, and Phantom of the Opera- I saw it live last December in Toronto and it was so awesome!! The chandelier dropped over the audience. It was so cool. I've been meaning to watch Rent; a lot of my friends are really into it. I also need to get into Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. On which note, anyone here a Carrie Hope Fletcher fan? She's my favorite Eponine (and one of my favorite youtubers, too!)
I love musicals! West Side Story, Singing in the Rain, The Sound of Music... my friends think I'm weird, but musicals are just great.
