It seems that Prince has died today. I haven't lived very long, so I haven't listened to much of his music. However, like David Bowie and Robin Williams, it still makes me utterly sad to see a life-long legend lose their life. I've always had a distinct memory as a very young kid watching him sing 'Best Of You' by Foo Fighters at the Super Bowl. That's the first time I've ever seen him or heard of him, and I will never forget it. You will be missed
Dearly beloved We are gathered here today To get through this thing called life Electric word life It means forever and that's a mighty long time But I'm here to tell you There's something else The after world A world of never ending happiness You can always see the sun, day or night So when you call up that shrink in Beverly Hills You know the one, Dr. Everything'll Be Alright Instead of asking him how much of your time is left Ask him how much of your mind, baby
I really want someone in queen to die just so I can make the 'another one bites the dust' joke already... I'm kinda getting desensitised to all of these deaths of musicians by this point...
I was very devastated and in disbelief when I heard the news of Prince's death. In fact, I am still finding it hard to believe that he passed away although, it's a fact. I have a lot of his music in my library including remixes, and imports which shows how much of a huge fan I am of his music which will live on forever. There will never be another Prince!!!!
