Definitely Sinister(the first one). It is not necessarily "scary" but just extremely disturbing, specifically the short films of the possessed children killing their family, lol.

The Ring! I saw it when I was 12. I steered clear of the TV and slept with the lights on for a week. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I watch a lot of horror movies, so this is a tough question for me. I guess Alien, since I was only 12 and that was my first horror movie. I was so terrified that I didn't sleep for a week because I was terrified that I would get facehugged if I closed my eyes.

The Grudge (original version). I watched it when I was about 8 years old. After that, I cant sleep alone. But now, the movie that scares me the most is Green Inferno. If you watched that movie, you will know why an environmentalist like me would be scared in that movie

I'm not someone who's easily scared (i think i'm just numbed to horror from all the horror games i've played... - u -) But.....

    ..........
    .................
    ....................

    Nah, i still can't think of one.... (o. o )
But i was really scared of that one episode of The Simpsons that one time when i was like six or sumthin... and the game 'Piglet's Big Game' !!
There's just something about the game over screens in that game... something... eerie...
    ...
Or maybe i was just a weird kid, i dunno, it's a possibility i suppose, but, nah, no movies...

I don't have a specific movie but when I first started watching horror movies and there was anything with mirrors and/or Bloody Mary, I felt like I was haunted by something in the mirror.

It was probably something like Hellraiser. Unfortunately, horror films haven't scared me enough since I was a child. Creepypasta works better

I watched The Ring (the remake) - when I was 11. Watched it all alone, then it haunted me for years. I couldn't have a tv in my room anymore cause I was sure someone would crawl through it. We also had our own well in the yard, which I could easily view from my window - and yeah.. it disturbed me for a while.

But the most psycologically disturbing movie for me was one where a girl babysat at a house and later became impregnated with the devils? child..or something like that. She tried to end it by shooting herself, and ended up braindead instead (still pregnant).

I don't remember what it was called..and it wasn't 'scary' but really messed up and gave me lots of anxiety. Things like that I don't really handle well :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

Oh and have anyone ever seen the movie 'Rovdyr'? It's a Norwegian movie and it is also completely f*cked up :S It plays out in the 70's and is about these teenagers on a road trip. Then it's about hunting - but not of the animal kind.

These kind of movies make me more 'scared' than the typical ghost-stories.

This is weak of me, but I don't really watch horror movies. That said, I watched "Dead Silence" a while ago and it terrified me! I think that was mostly down to my intense dislike of puppets, especially marionettes and ventriloquist dolls. Not the best choice in film on my part...

    I can't handle horror haha.
The movie that's scared me the most is probably Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (the Dementors...) Don't judge.
The most disturbing film I've seen is probably Seven.
Buuut none of those are horror, so... I'll have to go with Rec. Ugh, hated that film...

As a child I got peer pressured into watching Nightmare on Elm St and Friday the 13th, I didn't watch a horror movie for years after that. In late 2015/Early 2016 my roommate convinced me to watch AHS (which was fantastic!) then we watched the Babadook sometime later and that is probably the scariest thing I have ever seen, also one of the best movies I have seen.

I'm not sure. I would say the IT scared me the most as a child. I did have grown ups do horrible things to me as a kid so the IT kind of reminded me of that.

Now I would say the Tale of Two Sisters scared me. There is so much suspense and confusion. It is more of a psychological horror movie. I can imagine being in the movie.

Movies from the Halloween Franchise scared me the most. Michael Myers was just a serious creep.
