The above question. If you know of any, please list the name of the streaming service or site (a link would be nice) that carries the show. I've noticed lots about trans-women, but none about us guys. Don't know why this is.
Since society is just now acknowledging that trans people exist, it might be a while. I know trans women seem to get more media attention because of all the social stigma, but it seems like trans men are largely left out. I did recently hear about this at least, not a TV show but amusing nevertheless: Spoiler Apparently a trans guy was able to get past Kim Davis and get married, was a while back but was just told recently. Has a beard and everything, passes perfectly. If she knew he probably would have been denied a license regardless of who he was marrying.
Trans-women are getting more coverage do to a certain caityln out there. But trans men I wouldn't know of any! Thats just means yall should go make one! I would love to watch it!
There are a few shows which have a couple episodes with a minor trans man character on it, but sadly, none with a trans man as the main character.
Kyle from Eastenders is trans, but if you've never seen it you've got 31 years of almost irrelevant catching up to do. That's the only thing I can think of atm.
According to Wikipedia, not a lot - there's a few more in movies (all listed on the same Wiki page) Beyond the Caitlyn story, it also seems there's a lot less complaining about two women kissing on mainstream/broadcast shows than if it's two guys. I'm guessing it's more of the same logic or phenomena, unfortunately.
Well, there's Brothers, online web series about a bunch of trans guys in New York: https://m.youtube.com/user/BKbrotherswebseries
Also found a documentary (currently on Netflix) called Mr. Angel imdb page here Mr. Angel chronicles the extraordinary life of transgender activist and porn pioneer, Buck Angel. He survived addiction, prostitution, and suicide and now tells a moving story of a man's search for acceptance from his family & the world. Following six years in his life, Mr Angel is an inspirational story of an unlikely hero. EDIT: I just realized you don't mention your age, and from the description this may very well have some incidental "adult" content even though it's a documentary, so please be warned
I've seen it. Actually pretty good but yes, super adult. They follow Buck around at different adult film conventions. I don't think you see too much but yes, it does talk a lot about the industry.
That web series Brothers is the only one I can think of; with other shows only having a trans man for one episode (ex: Orphan Black) or they got killed off at some point.
