I really love this movie and the songs in it. Don't judge. Does anyone else?

Funny enough, I watched the old one from 1988 today. Love the songs from that one!

It's not hate speech! Am I not allowed to express my opinion?

Don't joke about that. I knew you were joking, but somebody else might not.

I liked the 2008 one too, haven't really watched that one since it came out back then though. Need to watch it again soon.

Just out of curiosity, why'd you hate it?

Hairspray is amazing. No questions should be asked.

    You're a sensitive chap, aren't 'cha?

I much more prefer Pink Flamingos if we're discussing John Water's films.

I haven't seen it, and I don't think I will. I don't plan on investing time into what looks like a generic rom com musical. Besides, I'm generally not a big fan of the happy-go-lucky upbeat films anyway.

    Unless it's The Big Lebowski.

I see what you did there.

Wait...there's a 1988 version? Why didn't somebody tell me?

I've seen the other version though, and I loved it. I remember watching it when I was younger and wanting Tracey to end up with Seaweed. I don't know why but when I watched it for the first time I wanted them to get together. Just me? Anyway...

I'll have to put watching the 1988 version on the list of things I want to do with my life. I find it funny how I used to love singing ladies' choice back then, and I thought that I was straight at that point.

I loved when we got to perform to some of the songs at school, ah good times, good times.

I love lip sinking to Baltimore Crabs and Velma is my favourite character. I was even in the Hairapray school play as Mr.Pinky. I was the only boy in the whole play. They don't come gayer than that.
