Super into lemony snicket, Stephen king. I could read the Percy Jackson series over and over. Harry Potter was pretty good. What about you guys?

I'm really tempted to say Harry Potter, but the book series that really hit me like a hammer was K.A. Applegate's Animorphs and one or two side stories, predominantly The Ellimist Chronicles.

I was 8 when I was introduced to it, and it played a pivotal role in getting me to think about how big and full of potential (for both wonders and horrors) the universe can be. And at the same time that it's a story of an interstellar war, it's also the story of several appropriately-disoriented teenagers trying to figure themselves out as well as take on the mantle of being spies, warriors, and saviors.

Honestly I don't think I could recognize myself today if not for her work.

I love when books make me realize something about myself. I honestly believe they have a role in shaping who we are.

Stephen King rocks! I'm a pretty big horror geek so I really like authors like Stephen King and John Saul. Harry Potter started off good IMO but I felt it kinda started going downhill after the 5th book. The "His Dark Materials" series by Philip Pullman was pretty good too.

I am absolutely loving the author Kyell Gold. I have all his books to date and can't wait for the next one. My favorite series of his is the Out of Position series, I love the dynamic between the two main characters Devlin Miski and Wiley Farrell.

Dan Brown would probably be my favourite author. His writing is just so compelling

I'm not too much of a series reader anymore, though I have enjoyed George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire. Otherwise I enjoy the works of a wide variety of authors from various parts of the world, including the following:

    Franz Kafka
    Marcel Proust
    John Fowles
    Virginia Woolf
    Thomas Mann
    Saul Bellow
    Haruki Murakami
    Jorge Luis Borges
    Gabriel Garcia Marquez
    Jose Saramago

I remember reading A Series of Unfortunate Events in 6th grade. Amazing series, but the last book left me confused. Then again, I kinda read fast.

I'm not really that into fiction. The one series I do like is Veronica Mars, because I was a big fan of the show and am very familiar with characters.

"A Song of Ice and Fire" by George R.R Martin. I'm not much of a book reader, I usually read graphic novels/comics/manga.

There's an awesome series called 'Silverwing' about a bat who's friend dies and he goes into the underworld to find her and can't get back out. It sounds weird but actually they're such awesome books and like nothing I'd ever read before.

Stephen King's ok but I love all the others. I also liked the Goosebumps and Magic Treehouse series as a kid. His Dark Materials, White Fang, Adventures of Tom Sawyer and Huckleberry Fin, The Great Gatsby, The Redwall Series, and Tolkiens works. I enjoy reading fiction specifically fantasy and mystery but like some autobiographies.

    I read manga too.

My favorite LGBT series is Tales From Foster High from John Goode. Aside from that I quite like the Harry Potter series and SE Hinton.

I think reading Stephen Kings 'Misery' and 'IT' when I was 13ish has a lot to do with my twisted personality. If you're a sci fi geek then I'd would recommend Peter Hamilton - tombstone size books but once you're in they are addictive....

I read most of the Stephen King books when I was a teenager, they were for the most part, very good. I also like Harry Potter and Anne Rice's supernatural novels.
