    Today is Star Trek's 50th birthday! This was one of the shows that had the biggest impact on my identity as a child. I can't believe it's been 50 years already. Live long and prosper!

    I'm old enough to remember when it first aired...it was the most amazing show on TV (for me anyway), that, and Batman with Adam West. Holy S***t am I old!
