What are everyone's favorite OST's (Original Soundtracks)? It can be anything from individual songs or just the entire OST to something. It could also range from things like Movies, Games, tv shows, etc.
I don't really watch a lot of movies but some of my Favorite tracks from other media are:

I love the OST for Fairy Tail. It's the best thing about that entire series and also probably my favorite music.

The main theme from Warcraft: The Beginning is simply amazing!

Here's some old game soundtracks I personally feel are really underrated...

Couldn't find a full one for this game, but it's rather unique for sure and has drastic changes depending on the environment. Some of these are a bit surprising from such an otherwise upbeat game.

This one, R-Type Final, has a rather eerie and lonely scene, often quickly picking up the pace when an imposing enemy arrives. Despite being PS2, the world is very well crafted and matches the soundtrack well.

its hard to make good music, those games showed how good music in games can be remembered forever

I have a lot of favorite OSTs but on my all time top favorite list ..it will be a tie between Prince's Purple Rain and Prince's Graffiti Bridge.

I have a lot of soundtracks I love but one I can think of on the spot that is great is the OST for the film Atonement. It's so beautiful.

I love the Tales of symphonia soundtrack, especially the battle themes. The forest maze theme from Super Mario RPG. All Mother 2/Earthbound themes.

Red Dead Redemption's soundtrack is just amazing, and The Last of Us' soundtrack is a close second. Also the score for literally anything Star Wars is pretty good, too.

Definitely The 'Shadow of the Colossus' OST. One of the best soundtracks of all time

OSTs are amazing, I have a playlist full of instrumental music (most of which are OSTs). I doubt I can narrow it down to one, but here's a few of my favourites:

    Carmeaty Burana (Super Meat Boy)
    Object Rho (Mass Effect 2)
Another Medium *Pacifist/Neutral - though the Genocide ver. is good too* (Undertale)
    Leaving Earth (Mass Effect 3)
    AcyOrt (Aldnoah.Zero)
    Massacre (Corpse Party)
The World Is Tumbling Down (Fate/Zero)
Agni Kai (Avatar The Last Airbender)

That's about as short as the list will get. XD

That's easy, Transistor. The OST has like five or six original songs on it, all of which are meant to be the main characters songs (she's a singer who has lost her voice).

The Ys Series always delivers with its OSTs, the standout ones for me being Oath in Felghana, Ys Seven and Memories of Celceta.

    Hmm...
I think ultimately it has to be "Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" by Jeremy Soule. It's incredibly similar to Howard Shore's soundtracks to the "Lord of the Rings" films, but in a more condensed fashion with a bit more historically medieval charm. The songs that play when you're just exploring the landscape are the best.

I'm a fan of the Phoenix Wright series' sort of 8 bit-esque style. In terms of a conventional music ost then I'd say that The Last of Us is also a contender- Gustavo Santolala did a good job with it.

In TV- I am a sucker for the Game of Thrones ost- like being legit if you haven't listened to "Hear Me Roar" from the last season you're missing out- the same for "The Light of the Seven".

Also, Studio Ghibli do a good job for their movies. And I'm being clichéd by saying that Spirited Away is one of their best.

But to also be hipster af; Has anyone ever seen Olive Kitteridge? The opening theme for that series is nice tho. Serene. And also the OST for The Leftovers by Max Richter. Never seen the series but know the soundtrack from being a music nerd.
