So, the only way I can legit feel emotions in my life right now is because of anime. I have finished two animes so far (Toradora and Re:Zero) which I both love and am in the middle of watching Yuri on Ice. I need to know more great animes from anime fans. Please help or I might not be able to feel anymore.

For the record, Toradora is one of the best FEELS anime I've seen. I haven't seen Re:Zero yet despite everyone talking about it. Yuri on Ice is alright

I don't want to pry, so I'll just let it be known that I hope you're able to feel again soon (*hug*)

If you want to see a hilarious show that still has some tragedy, then watch Angel Beats!

If you want to see dolls battling in some sort of Highlander game, then watch Rozen Maiden

If you want to see some... questionable ethics, then watch Gunslinger Girl

If you want to see a 'good' example of a psychopath, then watch Monster

If you want to see a very dark fantasy world, then watch Berserk (the one from 1997/1998)

If you want a creepy mindfuck, then watch Madoka Magica. BTW this is the latest anime I've cried over!

*whispers softly into the computer screen*
    Jojo's
    *recedes into darkness*

In honesty though, anime is wonderful but I'm hella picky. Here are some of my recommendations (a lot have probably already been mentioned). I like the darker stuff, so if that's up to your tastes.

Code Geass (Oh sweet Jesus everything about it is perfect)
    Erased
Death note (I've watched about 5 times)
Terror is Resonance/Zankyou no Terror (watch it for the music if nothing else)
Neon Genesis Evangelion (classic, physiological, not for everyone)
    Drrrr/durarara (the characters are wonderful)
    Black Lagoon (dat action)
    Tokyo Ghoul (dat action)
    Darker than Black (dat action)
    Monster
Attack on Titan (most people like this one, I like it to)
    Steins;gate (teh drama)
ONE PUNCH MAN (basically a must watch, hilarious, upbeat, much action)
Mob Pyscho (also a must watch, same creator as one punch man)

Shaman King (series of young shamans each with their own spiritual fighter)

(original) Ghost in the Shell (film of the mission of a hyper-intelligent cyborg and her personal actualisation)

Films by Hayao Miyazak - my favorites: "My Neighbor Totoro" "Kiki's Delivery Service" "Spirited Away" and "Howl's Moving Castle"
