Even though I love my live-action, my favorite movies and TV shows have always predominantly animated. So you can imagine I had quite a few crushes back in the day while watching Toon Disney, The Disney Channel, Cartoon Network and the like.

My biggest crushes from back in my tween years were Kim Possible, Jenny XJ-9, and Ariel from "The Little Mermaid."

In terms of male crushes, I guess the earliest would have to be Danny from "Cats Don't Dance," as I've always had something of an attraction to his passion, his charm, and his sheer tenacity.

What are some of your animated crushes?

Hmmm, never really went in for animated crushes, must admit. But if I had to choose? Azula from Avatar: The Last Airbender, until she went crazy she was my favorite character, I kinda always wanted her to win despite being the bad guy! Me and my friends were so disappointed when she went crazy, we all agreed they must have done it because otherwise she was just too badass to ever lose, and to avoid fan backlash if they killed her off.

I think you're right. She was too badass to lose if she had been of sound mind the whole time.

Whoa. I totally get what you mean about his movement. Really adorable. I like your other crushes too. I've always preferred guys with big bangs and a bold color highlight.

My current animated crush is by far Mettaton from "Undertale." I just can't get enough of his sexy smile, his bedroom eyes, or his amazing hips.

    Anime. OMG.

Viktor Nikiforov, Shinya Kogami, Sebastian Michaelis, Vincent Law, L, Osamu Dazai and Atsushi, Hei....etc, etc. Too many to post pics of!

    That's Shinya Kogami.

    And here is Dazai...

I think I love fictional characters more than real people. Sad, but true.

I love psycho-pass too! Kogami was a really good character, definitely good looking but also with very interesting character development. Thought Shogo Makishima was pretty awesome too, not really as a crush so much as just a fantastic bad guy.

Awww yeah there's just something about animated characters xD

I always had (*cough*mightstillhave*cough*) a massive crush on Nani from Lilo & Stitch. She was the first animated character I'd seen with curves, and she owned them! She was so tough and trying to be a good sister AND mum to Lilo...yeah I loved pretty much everything about her.

Pretty sure I had a crush on all of the Sailor Senshi's at some point too. *hides*

Most recently, 'mystery girl' from Steven Universe is pretty hot xD

When I was little, it was Ariel from the Little Mermaid, Thorn from Scooby Doo and the Witch's Ghost and Anastasia from Anastasia.

These days I don't get a lot of animated crushes, but it happens, like with Lord Dominator from Wander over Yonder. Hips don't lie.

And also Busujima Saeko from Highschool of the Dead. Yeaaaaah... I like 'em crazy. Might be in large part because she's voiced by my favorite Japanese voice actor.

    Oh yeah.
Thorn is probably what made me love goth girls and guys as much as I do. Cause she isn't really grim goth, and she's not depressing. Instead, she's a wicken and an environmentalist who uses horror and rock to promote her message. That is just badass on so many levels.

Really dug those gloves she wore too.

Personally, I also liked her singing too when I was younger. Funny coz listening to it now, it's like okay, but when I was younger I thought the Hex Girls were awesome.

Voice actress, Jennifer Hale, is quite a good singer with a broad range, but I wouldn't say she's an expert either. The lyrics to both Hex Girls songs are also extremely similar and rather weak, which probably fits the situation of an amateur horror rock band, but still.

Their song is still very very sexy, but not "Amazing." You know?

Jennifer Hale is one helluva voice actor.

Honestly, between Thorn, Ariel and Rayne from Bloodrayne, it's no wonder I ended up having a thing for redheads.

Haha I do know! Like I said re-watching those songs, I think this is really all I would expect from a kids T.V. show- but when I was younger I thought it was really good! It's one of those things I guess that you remember nostalgically as really good, and then re-watch/read when you're older and go- oh.....that's actually kind of lame.

It always cracks me and my friend up how is like the only British kid in the whole series, but if you had to choose one male British teenager to represent you in a post-apocalyptic world- it would definitely be him. (Sorry Jeremy Irvine).
