This has probably been asked before but what are your favourite book series?

My favourite is The Gone Series. It includes Gone, Hunger, Lies, Plague, Fear and Light with new ones coming out soon. It has a couple of Lesbian and Gay people in it. It is based around everyone over the age of 15 disappears.

My second favourite is TimeRiders. It has 9 in the series so I can't list them. It has no LGBT people in it. It is based around traveling through time etc.

These were my favourites what are yours?

Darren Shan's Demonata and Cirque Du Freak series tie for my No.1 spot. With Artemis Fowl in second. Harry Potter a close third. And The Immortals Series by Alyson Noël takes fourth place.

Also, I just realized it's been far too long since I've reread any of these. To the Public Library!

Lord of the Rings and the Chronicles of Narnia. I liked the first two Hunger Games but have some issues with the third.

Does À la recherche du temps perdu count as a series?

I suppose I haven't read many series, but fantasy seems to be a genre tailor-made for serialization: Lord of the Rings, A Song of Ice and Fire, and His Dark Materials are all fine fantasy series that I enjoyed.
