For the past few days Facebook has been freezing every so often. I use Firefox as my browser. I deleted all of my cookies and cleared my history. Has that happened to anyone else?
Yeah, I'm relieved I'm not the only one it's been happening to. Terribly inconvenient, but I have no clue what's going on. I get a pop-up about scripts. I have no idea what it means because it's computer technology vokabulary auf Deutsch. Too hard for me.
Wow, I thought I had a trojan or something.. Getting the some script crap. I'm using Google Chrome instead now.
I was in the middle of uploading photos to Facebook on Firefox, using the Java app, when Firefox just closed completely. What version of Firefox are you using? 3.0.10 was just released to fix stability problems in 3.0.9. To update: Help->Check for updates.
Just been updated to 3.0.10 and facebook is loading nice and fast again for me, was very slow and needed reloading lots before the firefox update - would suggest updating to latest firefox
I've been having that problem too! I thought my 3 year old computer was about to crash on me! I'll check for the updates.
I had Firefox freezing on me a couple of times but that was only with one of the older versions. Actually, I had more problems with Internet Explorer than with Firefox. I found that just logging out of the account helps too.
