Hey there y'all, just wondering if anyone else from EC is going to Download Festival this year, what bands people are wanting to see, just general Download discussion. As for me, it's my first time going, and I really want to see Dream Theater, Opeth and Korn. I wouldn't mind catching Slipknot again, Marylin Manson, Whitesnake and The Prodigy should be good too.. i dont like download its far too comercial. shame these cool bands dont do more down to earth concerts then again not sure if a good old concert exists anymore
Meh, I've seen Opeth and Korn before, they're nothing special (I actually managed to fall asleep during Korn, I still have no idea how I did that...) Dream Theater would be awesome live though...
I really wish I lived in England so I could go to this. A lot of badass bands are playing that festival. Including my favorite, Dir en grey.
Europe gets all the great metal festivals and it pisses me off damnit! All America has is Gigantour and Ozzfest and most of the bands are utter shit.
it aint that great here its all about money now not the music its not as hardcore as it used to be theres fences security sponsors advertising. its like rock you want great rock now look to the fins look that way for best festivals too.
I just bought my ticket. YEAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! No idea how I'm getting there, like. Which makes it even more fun.
