as i was watch cartoons this morning with my brother and saw that Disney has killed Christopher Robin, thus raping my childhood, i thought i would post the original song anyone wanna talk about Pooh? ^_^
It's the lamest joke in the world, but whenever I see someone with WtP on their shirt (or hat), I say "Um...it looks like you got a little Pooh on you..." Oh, and I blame When We Were Very Young and Now We Are Six for inspiring me to write bad poems. Maybe I should have written them off as "hums". Lex
haha i know what you mean. when i listened to it i jumped up and danced around my room and was singing like i was a kid again ^_^ and Christopher Robin was so a gay guy.
I loved Winnie the Pooh growing up. Interesting little factoid (at least for me that is). A.A. Milne named Winnie-the-Pooh after his son's teddy bear. His son, Christopher named his teddy bear after a bear he saw at the London Zoo. The bear was given to the Zoo by Canadian Lt. Harry Colebourne and who had purchased it from a hunter and named it Winnie after his hometown in Winnipeg. Living in Winnipeg can be dull sometimes but this little tidbit always makes me happy. That's Harry Colebourne and Winnie, a statue of Colebourne and Winnie at the Assinaboine Park Zoo in Winnipeg and a picture of Christopher Milne and Winnie. (respectively)
Oh im just a little black raincloud, hovering under the honey tree Oh im just a little black raincloud, pay no attention to little me
Oh god...I used to watch that every morning with my mom. And I bought all the movies. And still have them. On VHS.
Awww childhood memories~! I looove that song it's sooo catchy~ I loved Piglet and Roo haha they are sooo cute~! I don't understand the new Winnie The Pooh either~! They replaced Christopher Robin with some girl I think~
>>>and Christopher Robin was so a gay guy. CR never struck me as gay in the slightest. He was just a little kid, doing that whole innocent kid thing. Wearing your hair in that weird bob. Doing voices for your stuffed animals, making up silly songs, playing "soldier" and "cook" interchangeably, and noticing that the landing on the stairway is like a world unto itself. "Gay" is pretty much a foreign concept there. Lex
This is the one I was looking when I was a little girl. I just love it. By the way, Christopher Robin was Jean-Christophe in french
Aww I love Winnie the Pooh, up down touch the ground *rips* it still cracks me up when he gets stuck in rabbits house My friends used to say Eyore was gay cos he had a pink bow, i doubted that though
