Some you may not have heard of...

A Touch of Pink - A very clean and very funny gay romantic comedy, worth a watch

Boy Culture - A not-as-clean and amazingly done gay romantic drama, five stars from me!

Trick - Another gay romantic comedy that is just hilarious and has a tiny bit of a musical side

Eat Side Story - A very sexy gay romantic comedy, but it was not that funny. Still, it was very sexy atleast

Shortbus - Porn with a plot line. Sex, sex, nudity, sex. I really liked it though because it has a great story behind it (and sex.)

Hedwig and the Angry Inch - A musical about a male to female trans lady. Very good, great music, touching story.

Some you most likely have heard of...

Shelter - One of the most well known gay coming out movies. Its well known for a reason, its amazing.

Latter Days - Same story as above. Its about a gay Mormon, so that might hit home for some people or strike up some interest.

Get Real - A british coming out movie. I hated the ending, but it was one of the more realistic takes on coming out and alot of people enjoyed it atleast

Brokeback Mountion - Not quite as gay as i thought it was going to be, but other than a few complaints about certain things i loved it. A must see in my opinion. Do it for heath!

(Plus Prayers for Bobby and Milk like you mentioned)

I really liked Antique Bakery (its korean). The plot was rather...cliche and cheesy, and the musical numbers were...very extravegant, but still an interesting watch nonetheless.

Transamerica - about the final stages of a M2F transition, fairly thought provoking and imo very good.

    There's a sequal?

My favourite would have to be an old Danish film called Du Er Ikke Alene (You Are Not Alone). The plot meanders a bit but the music more than makes up for it - well worth a watch if you can put up with the bad subtitling of the English version.

-Brokeback Mountain (I rented it secretly without my mom knowing)

-Sumerstrom (Summerstorm, watched it with Spanish subtitles on Youtube, it's in German)

    -Shelter

Those are the only three I've seen

I am getting milk today from netflix.

Right now watching a lifetime movie about a transgendered teenage boy. I stopped on it because it has mercedes ruele (or however you spell it), who I loved when she played the snarky boss/sex interest on fraiser.... DIRTY GIRL! (if you watch lots of fraiser, you would get that reference (!) )

Saw a trailer for Shelter today, looks ok, but I'm a bit skint atm. Would you guys say it's worth a tenner?

Done Brokeback Mountain, had visited my grandparents for a week, and on train back I planned a 6 hour stop on the way to do it, told family I was meeting up with an old friend for lunch en route  That's it so far.
