Anyone here a big musical theatre fan??? I've been obsessed over the musical "Next to Normal" starring Alice Ripley, J. Robert Spencer, Jennifer Damiano & Aaron Tveit. Its a concept musical, so I always give props to a writer and composer that can make something out of nothing. With the world of Broadway being movie related lately, its refreshing. The musical is about a families ability to cope with their mother's mental illness and how she is holding on to her dead son. Although, its kind of dark for a musical, its actually really good. It makes you laugh and cry. I am yet to see it on Broadway, but I love the cast album and can't wait to see it win the Tony's this year! *crossing fingers*. Anyone else familiar with the show?
