I won't lie, this series caught my attention due to attractiveness of the main character. Then I come to find out it is a Canadian production. Anyways it's premiering on CTV and NBC tonight. I guess it had previously started showing on international channels a couple months ago. I thought "paranormal" series like Medium got driven into the ground already. Wonder how long this will last. http://thelistener.ctv.ca/ http://www.nbc.com/the-listener/
I'm totally watching it tonight... but as for genre series like this one and Medium, well Medium just got picked up by CBS after NBC (stupidly) canned it and this'll be it's like... 5th or 6th season, I think? Many genre series do pretty well (Ghost Whisperer, Supernatural, etc.) but a lot of them fly under the radar.
I guess I goofed, it's on today (Thursday) not yesterday (Wednesday) Anyways, I got impatient and "obtained" episodes. The plotline is ankle deep at times, but sometimes shows take a season or two to get their stride. It does have potential. I will toss this tidbit out, one of the future episodes deals (albeit briefly) with transgendered issues.
It was on (east coast) CTV last night and tonight. I know this because I watched it last night. And I'm not a time traveller.
So it was. I get messed up because I watch a combination of the Maritime feed (SD) and Toronto (HD). What did you think it?
It was okay... I find his eyes kinda over-intense and bulgey and the show itself was a bit by the numbers. Still, I like the mythology they hinted at and his character seems pretty likable. Mix of Maritime SD and Toronto HD sounds cRAzEE!
