I LOVE LITTLE BOOTS!!! Meddle, Mathematics, New In Town, No brakes and Stuck on Repeat ....all of here songs ara just my favorites.. and i must say, i think she is even better than lady gaga!

Considering she topped the Sound Of 2009 poll last year she hasn't done too well when she released her album 4 weeks (?) ago and La Roux has outsold it in 1 week. They made a bit of a mess releasing New In Town over Remedy. Irrelevant tbh anyway, Mathematics, New In Town and Remedy are my favourites of hers though, especially the lyrics of Mathematics. Album was a bit dissapointing when there were only about 5 new tracks on it LOL. I prefer Florence And The Machine and Passion Pit in the Sound of '09 poll, Cosmic Love has to be one of the top 10 songs of the year. So epic and powerful. [YOUTUBE]4tpW-OqIxWo[/YOUTUBE]

All I have heard is New in Town by Little Boots. Its a good song. I also Like Florence and the Machine, from what I have heard on BBC Radio 1. I love my XM radio.
Bat For Lashes is a bit meh imo, she's a bit too Kate Bush for me, though Pearl's Dream is brilliant, still very impressive to be a backing singer for someone as big as her ;o. The other two members of Little Boots' old band formed Video Villain when Dead Disco disbanded, but they're more similar to Nine Inch Nails than Little Boots LOL. Let's not exaggerate, Little Boots is awesome, but I wouldn't put her on the same level as Gaga, she doesn't have the personality to combat her.
Boots is not really like GaGa - Gaga is ambitious, skanky (but we love her anyways), in your face... Little Boots is more of the indie girl singing pretty electropop songs. I love both though That said, I was a bit disappointed by the album. I get the impression her record label wanted to "mainstreamify" her, but doing so they lost her edge. I do love "Symmetry", "No Brakes" and a song on her North American EP, "Not Now".
