My insomnia got the best of me the other night, and I decided to watch Shortbus for the first time. Wow. The movie is just so incredibly..... REAL! And some of really good songs in background by scott matthew who has the voice of an angel and also jay brannan. So any of you guys ever seen it?
I saw the sex scene...my jaw dropped! YOU KNOW WHICH SCENE I'M TALKING 'BOUT!!! MMMMmmmmm-hmmmmm! Gotta love those indies!
Omg! That movie is so crazy! I wasn't sure what to expect, I'd heard so much, but it ended up being...crazier than I thought it would be. Weird. Different. Wild. Real. Raw. It was a pretty good movie :eusa_clap
It was SO good! ...but i really appreciate "porn with plot" movies because i can see the art in the sex and how much it can add to a movie if done well. This movie was perfect as an example of that! The therapist character was fucking brilliant.
Brillbrillbrilliant. I loved the concept of the story. I didn't think they actually needed to have sex, though they were all very attractive people. It was perfection other than that. The story seems like it's shrouded in the mist of pornography. That's actually why I watched it in the first place, haw.
I've seen it, it's awesome. I don't think it's porn with story at all, the sex is just presented like anything else. Innovative and outstanding. I love the scene when the therapist loses it during her session with the gay couple.
I have to agree with some of the others, I don't think it was porn with a plot. I think it was a great story that happened to have lots of sex. And for me it certainly wasn't porn. There is a great difference between sex and porn, this was just sex, unless you used the movie to help stimulate you...
i realy love shortbus. It's great. So (CrystalCat were right) Real. so expresive. and i realy disagree this porn with plot idea, if you want to see it like that then it's your busines.
JAY BRANNAN IS SO HOT. oh god, I love him. still, haven't seen shortbus, just because I haven't had the opportunity yet.
