I haven't gotten it yet, but it seems really good so I must buy it soon.

Played it on GCN back in the day, it's an absolutely amazing game.

Unfortunately, my ex stole it when we broke up :frowning2:

While it backed even further away from the Horror genre, I fuckin' love this game.
My friends and I have marathons where we try to beat the game in the quickest time possible.

My only complaint is Ashley. So annoying. I'd rather have just killed the bitch.

I was a huge fan of the original RE4 on the GameCube, so when I heard that this one had a better control system and all of the new content from the PS2 version, I got it immediately. I was kind of sad that there was no option to load my old GCN, but I've gone back and earned my typewriter and handcannon. In fact, I used a GameShark to get my handcannon first time around, so when I actually earned it for real this time around, I felt quite proud of myself.

I also beat professional mode for the first time in the Wii version. The better control scheme certainly made it easier, but by that point I had also played the game so many times that I knew it like the back of my hand. I don't play it as much as I used to, but I still like to load my über file (the one with all of the unlimited ammo weapons) from time to time and go to town. I pity the fool who gets between me and my goal when I have the infinite rocket launcher.

It is indeed a fantastic weapon. It puts the game on EZ-mode, but it's still fantastic. Fighting Verdugo (the right hand), Krauser, and Sadler with it is quite fun.

In the PS2 version and the Wii version, you can give her a costume that makes her invincible. It helps so damn much.

I love that sexy-ass merchant almost as much as Hannibal Lecter

Aaaah that's a brilliant game, that. Haven't got all the lovely weapons like the typewriter and handcannon yet, can't seem to get the money together :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: But christ, I hate Ashley. When I get her in the suit of armour and I have ammo to spare I just shoot and shoot and shoot and SHOOT her, even though it doesn't make a difference, it makes me happy XD

Love that game, haven't played it in ages, my Wii's packed up for the move :frowning2:

God, we really have slaughtered that game, to the point of which we'vd grown bored of it XD We couldn't *quite* get the hang of it in hard mode, but it was so much fun ^^ I can't wait for the next ResiEivi to come out on Wii; I'm hopeing that the Chicago Typewriter's on it!

Hmm, personally I wouldn't say it was worth it - use the money for the Chicago Typewriter, which is the best gun there I have to say. The Infinite Rocket Launcher fires at the same speed as the usual one.

Hmm, Separate Ways is difficult, it took ages for us (Tom and I) to crack it. There's some videos on Youtube of a Separate Ways walkthroughs here and here, in case you want some pointers. :icon_wink
