Quick techie query, someone's gonna be sending me a RAR file later. I'm on Windows Vista, do I need to download a program or is it like ZIP files ie. Vista can handle it?

If I need a program, any free products you guys can recommend? Thanks!

If you can't just open it, download WinRar:

The 1st or 2nd download. It's a trial version, but it should work. I've been using it for over a year and I've never had to pay for it. It doesn't really limit anything if you don't buy it.

7zip is a really good, free program that can open almost any compressed file extension. Not to mention the compression that it compresses with .7zip compresses VERY well.

I downloaded 7zip and I NEVER LOOKED BACK. I suggest you do the same!

7zip is as if someone converted an orgasm into a computer program.
