I watched the Gay Porn Awards with Mum OMFG

You know Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-list? Mum and I wanted to see the episode with her performing in the prison. (Very Johnny Cash-ish) Well, it just so happens to be the one that she hosts the Gay Porn Awards. It was like 20 minutes long and didn’t have any pictures or anything, but it was full of her wisecracks and innuendos:icon_bigg.

I just sat there and grinned as she said, “Are you sure this is the one with the prison?”
“Yes”

:jawdrop: “Oh, OK…” and she folded her hands and sat there mortified and glaring at the TV. Beneath the attempts to not create
tension I think she almost had a breakdown.


I think that now my Mum is scarred for life, and anytime she thinks about me being gay she will only be able to visualize that big purple double ended dildo and boy butter. I can’t believe I was actually able to sit there and feel “proud” and that I didn’t need to change the channel and slink off. (!!)

There were like three hours of shows on afterwards and I never realized that every episode has something gay in it. I love Kathy Griffin now, she is my new gay vent.
