A I the only one who loves this show? I keep missing it, but I just found out lifetime streams the episodes for free on their website.

I am totally and utterly in love with this show. It is like a social experiment, exploring themes of beauty and self worth.

I love it too, but I didn't question the deeper psychology behind it. It's just a good-time show for me.

I mean, Margaret Cho? Who can hate that woman?

I can relate so much to jane... I have never been fat, ever, but as a guy, being tall and skinny is still something you will get hurassed and teased about.

I agree, it is a great feel good show, but I love that there are deeper social undercurrent.s.

I thought this was a movie for a long time, but when I read this, I found it was a TV show :3

It's a great show, it shows people what overweight people have to go through, and what someone would go through if they found themself in a body of someone fat.

I just finished episode 2, time to watch the next 4 XD

I also really enjoy the contrast between deb in the past, and deb as jane in the present.

Also, I just like the idea that she now has the chance to get rid ofth 'zero adult' status, and instead of being focused on her looks as her worth, she is now finding it through helping others know their worth and fight for it.

I just realized the font/colors used in the show are the same as the empty closets logo <_<

    Bumping.

    Anyone love the new episode?

I actually caught myself laughing quite a bit throughout the episode lol. And the overall message was awesome as usual. Margaret's character I can relate to. I wear the same 2-3 pairs of jeans. I have for years. Most stores don't carry my size, and when they do, the people just look at me weird. Same reason for my same shirts. >_>

That was the most evil season finale I've ever watched.

Now I wanna strangle the writers. Why does Season 2 have to premiere in 2010? >_<

Bumping, for one reason: The episode that aired saturday had a storyline that may interest some of you.

A MtF Transexual who was in a battle with her inlaws about her late wife's belongings, etc. and refused to state that she was physically male in order to show that the marriage was valid.

It was an interesting story, even though it wasn't the main story of the episode.
