I was a huge fan of the cartoon, and I'd heard there was to be a live action movie released sooner or later. I dig it!

o.o is it going to follow the main plot points, or is it going to be a summary of the series?

Um...i dont think we're talking about the same 'Avatar' lol

    Okay...let me explain...there are 2 different movies

    1. Coming out in December of 2009 is 'Avatar'- a film made by director James Cameron (Terminator 1+2, Titanic, Aliens) about blue aliens and such

    2. Coming out in 2010 (i think) is 'The Last Airbender'- which is based on the tv series 'Avatar: The Last Airbender'. Its being directed by M. Night Shyamalan (The Sixth Sense, Signs, The Happening).

The one im talking about is the 2009 one, while all of you guys are talking about the 2010 one. Yes, it is really easy to get them confused:eusa_doh:

I am a HUGE fan of Titanic. Like amazingly huge. GIANORMOUSLY HUGE. So I saw the 16 minute preview tonight. It was... interesting. The trailer was quite disipointing, though. I'm only seeing it because of James Cameron.

Blehhh Titanic. I only like the Captain and Thomas Andrews (because of Victor Garber).

    But, Avatar=epic win. I can't wait.
