What does everyone think of it? I like Amanda's songs on her solo albums, but I also like ones from the dresden dolls cd's... my favorite is coin operated boy.
I love, love, love, love, LOVE Amanda Palmer. Both her solo work and as part of the Dresden Dolls. I saw her perform live in Houston in March, and oh my god. I thought she sounded passionate on her CDs. But they do lose some of her incredible intensity, and being about ten feet away from her while she plays... One of the best moments of my life so far. <3 I can still remember the opening chords of Astronaut making the air in my lungs vibrate. (She also played a very long introduction to Half Jack that I would call something akin to a musical orgasm.) SO AMAZING. I have a sketchbook that has an autograph from her and Vermillion Lies and it is my precious. <3 She was such a sweetie, too. I love that she's not just a great musician, she is a great person generally (and actually interacts with her fans! PARTY ON THE INTERNET), and refuses to compromise her work to satisfy other people. She's one of my role models, and is on my short list of favorite people ever. ... So, yes, I like Amanda Palmer just a little bit. >.>

She's awesome, I've got all her albums (as Dresden/Amanda) While granted I liked her with Brian (I also love him - he's a brilliant drummer) SHE'S VERY GOOD. I seen her live last year in Hull, and I can tell you the only more passionate performance I've seen was when I seen Carmen
omg i love her voice!! she and brian are brilliant!! i actually started listening to them because i was listening to Emilie Autumn (who is a fan of the Dresden Dolls) and in one of her posts she mentions going to their show. and i listened to them and fell in love
