Apologies if this thread has already been made.

I was just wondering how many people in here play instruments and what you play.

I play keyboard but I've sort of gone off playing it for quite a while, I was overseas last year and had little access to keyboards/pianos so I think my obsession sort of died. I really want to start playing again though and before I went to Japan last year there was a $1400 keyboard that I wanted to buy *drools* lol. The keyboard I have now is worse than a toy. I can't play more than five keys at a time, it's too small for the songs I want to play, no touch response, bad sound quality and the speakers are like dead. But still I love it, it does it's job well enough for me to continue playing.

I also sort of picked up guitar, my sister got one for her birthday a few years ago so I play hers. Problem is I suck at it. I can't play chords at all! Actually I'm wondering if it may have something to do with the fact it's not a full size guitar.. Can anyone tell me what the difference is of the fretboard on a 3/4 guitar and a full size guitar? I know the neck is longer but is it wider as well? I'm hoping the reason I can't play chords is because the guitar is too small. I could play cello fine but that's a lil different hey? lol

Umm, I play a tiny amount of guitar, I can play clarinet, bass clarinet and saxophone, I am a singer, and I'm currently teaching myself piano. I've worked out how to play chords and what Bass Clef is now

I played (not past tense) the piano for several years - got my grade 8 Royal Conservatory practical (i.e. playing the piano) as well as my grade 3 History and Grade 3 Harmony. That may not mean much to people... I quit when I was in grade 11 in high school, and haven't played it much since.

I can play the piano, I'm just not very good. I got to level two or 3 before I stopped lessons 8 years ago. Occasionally I get inspired and try to play something from the internet. Fortunately we have an electric keyboard so it's always right in tune!

Piano - started when I was six. Doing grade 6 this year. I play mainly classical music - Beethoven, Chopin and Liszt - but I can play other stuff (just not very well :icon_wink ).
