    In an online group I was in a while ago, we had a favorite video game competition where we nominated games and voted on which one we liked more in a bracket-style tournament. Why don't we do the same with songs? Every Friday, a new "round" would be posted with a poll, until EC's favorite song is decided upon. As much as I would like to put this in the general forum, where it would get more traffic, I'm sure this is where it belongs.

    This post is the nomination round. You may nominate up to three of your favorite songs for the competition. Here are my nominations:

    I have a huge man-crush on this guy, seriously. He's so adorable and talented. This song is really pretty. I don't know how anyone wouldn't fall in love with it.

    Two Step - Dave Matthews Band
    This is such a great, great song. The instrumentals are incredibly amazing, and the lyrics are really beautiful if you listen to them.

    Road Trippin' - Red Hot Chili Peppers
    I know the Peppers aren't exactly known for writing music that's really deep or meaningful, but this is an absolutely fucking beautiful song. It's not only my favorite RHCP song, but probably my all-time favorite song, period. It's got such a gorgeous, nostalgic sound...it's literally brought me to tears before.
