Video games and age

I'm the same age and play Computer Games. Playing them has nothing to do with age!

Gaymer for life. Besides, how does he think videogames are made? I'm gonna be a videogame programmer when I leave college

 

So far I'm the oldest one, but we all play games to our preferences. I tend to play games with a story to follow (cough RPGs...). I'm not one to play anything that is a shooter or spy type because it doesn't appeal to me. Some games are aimed more at being a game than telling a story and vice versa. Sometimes I think older adults, like our parents, don't quite understand that some games have interesting stories just like any other media.

 

My answer is much like SolitaryKnight's. Also, I know plenty of old people that play computer games. It's better than going to the pokies or something.

 

I don't play video games ever, but I rarely played games when I was younger, so I still don't play them - it's not like I stopped.

 

I really stopped when my computer hard drive became too full so I had to start deleting games. I suppose now that I'm not playing computer games I have more time to practise bassoon which is avoid thing.
Although I would like to get the Sims 3 when we get a new computer.

 

I play them occasionally,only reason i dont play as much because i cant afford anything i want to play. And I didn't Answer the poll because I seriously don't wanna think about myself being "older" and I know im not younger

Anyhoo, I enjoyed computer games back in the day. Today, not so much.

I may play an old game here and there, but I do not consider myself a gamer.

Never was, really.

On the upside, I can use the same computer hardware for a couple years at least without the NEED to upgrade.

 

I don't play new games (though damn if some of the new games Blizzard are about to put out aren't tempting!) so I don't need to upgrade often either

 

I *would* play if I had more time to... unfortunately I just don't really have the time to play anything like as much as I used to. I think my time spent playing WoW killed a lot of my love of gaming though.

 

Err don't use the word coloured...it's kinda an offensive term to many people, this includes African American, Asian, Hispanic, Native, etc. Least, that's my opinion....Note I'm caucasian but I still find it not a good term...

As for my answer to this question, I'm a gamer and am playing Assassin's Creed 2 right now...

 

You kiddin'? One of my WoW guildies is, like, 60. He's a great guy. Terrible hunter, but a great guy. =P

But yeah. I totally still play video games. Not as often as I did when I was younger, mind, but that's more because of lack of time than feeling like I'm too old for them.

 

Ugh, I hear ya.

I was 15 when my mom made me pack up my lego and action figures. ...I still miss them sometimes.

 

Some of those 'Let's go around shooting people for money to spend on scantily clad prostitutes who will get into our stolen cars which we drive on the wrong side of the road and go through red lights with no respect for the traffic code' games don't seem childish to me at all.

 

I still play video games, it replaces my lack of social life, lol.

 

I'm 23, and still play games! Probably always will, too.
