Kate Bush is basically a giant in joke in the music department at my school. Mainly because of her, shall we say, interesting video clips. My friend knows the dance off the Wuthering Heights video clip in its entirety and can play it on piano and sing it. He's also done the entire dance to it in a park which is where my previous avatar is from and me laughing about him doing it. I go to an all-guys school. We're awesome.
Yes!!!! I love the woman. My favorite song of all time might be "Pi", when she sings a load of numbers from pi.
"Pi" is quite hilarious. And "Babooshka" with the whole pole dancing on a double bass thing, then the hilariously extreme costume change. She does have a great voice though.
So the first album I got was The Kick Inside, then Lionheart, then Never for Ever; none of them caught my attention. Recently I got Hounds of Love, and I've started listening to it. It's MUCH BETTER than her earlier stuff, I'm really into it. I already have two favorites: Cloudbusting and The Morning Fog, they're both such interestingly gorgeous songs .
ADORE HER. The Dreaming is my favourite album of hers, it's a shame no-one's mentioned it in this thread yet! A wonderful mixture of terror and anger.
