I was wondering if anyone else out there likes Bare? I know some of you must, its a very homosexual musical :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: I just wanted to chat a bit about different casts, songs, ect. and i dont think there is another Bare thread.

If i had to give a small sum up of what Bare is like, i would say it is a new age Shakespearian tragedy between two men set to music. If your into theatre, its kind of like Rent/Spring Awakening had a really gay baby? That kind of suits it.

An entire production of it is on youtube to watch, here is a link to the playlist:

    Anyways, my thoughts.

Im really into Shakespearian stories, and this plus Were the World Mine are some of my favorite musicals because of that. I thought this was better musical wise than Were the World Mine though. Some of the songs got me crying (ok, alot of them) and i managed to really get sucked into the characters and their world with the production i linked to.

Matt Doyle is my favorite Peter. This is a clip of him talking about Bare and singing Role of a Lifetime (GREAT song!)

And my favorite Jason would have to be John Hill. He played opposite to Michael Arden, who i also adore. This is a clip fo both of them singing the title song, Bare

My favorite song is Best Kept Secret, followed by See Me and Bare. You and I also ranks up there. I do like all of Nadia's songs too, they are quite funny (and sad).
