v for vendetta is slightly gay-themed but not noticeably for your parents to realize somethings up.

My favorite movie ever is "Gods and Monsters," starring Ian McKellen and Brendon Fraiser about the life of James Whale (director of "Frankenstein," "The Invisible Man," and a bunch of other awesome movies). It's a sorta-kinda love story between the James Whale (who was gay) and his fictional gardener. Not so in-your-face that anyone will suspect you of being gay, but it's generally a sweet movie.

I'll have to think about the rest.... Are you generally looking for movies that won't make anyone think you're gay right now but that are still gay-themed? :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

netflix has alot of them on streaming. i think i pay like 9-10 bucks a month, one dvd out at a time, but unlimited movies streamed to my computers. just need highspeed.

Were the world mine, is one I really liked.

hard to remeber others, but that one has stood out to me.

Why don't you look in the "Favorite Gay Film" thread? I've found so many good movies from there.

"Shelter" is a really good one, "Velvet Goldmine" is kinda gay-themed, but not very good (in my opinion)

The Birdcage, highly recommended. It's almost all laughs in the category of "oh crap, their gay!" but in the end you're like "hell yeah!"

I saw In and Out again last week, and had forgotten how awesome it is, and how much more awesome it is when you are out. Plus Kevin Klein(sp?) gay is like, adorable.

Both have the advantage of a positive message but enough comedy that people are comfortable.

A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy's Revenge

It's a horror film so no one will suspect anything, but there are some gay undertones in it. The main character is actually gay in real life.

"Edge of Seveteen" is my absolute favorite, though quite a bit of people don't seem to care for it or remember it.
