I'd have to go with the Pet Shop Boys' Can You Forgive Her? Partly for sentimental reasons. When I met my girlfriend three years ago, I was reading Anthony Trollope's The Prime Minister, and she lent me a few other Trollope books, including Can You Forgive Her? She did wonder at my not listening to rock music, but she never questioned my sexuality. Even when I told recently, she was a little surprised. And it's not as if she went and got a real man instead, as her next boyfriend was bisexual :icon_wink

'For Nancy' by Gavin Creel (The guy in my icon)

it doesn't say anything about sexuality but he says that it's for his mother regarding his sexuality.

does "complicated" by Bon Jovi count, it's not strictly a gay song but the lyrics apply (and awesome guitar solo)

Melissa Etheridge (she's openly gay) - "Come to My Window"

Adam Lambert (openly gay) so check his new music out

    Melissa Etheridge is fabulous
    Ani Difranco rocks my world
Andy Moore is really obscure, but fabulous
    Indigo Girls are mind-blowing
Amy Ray's solo work is so gay, angry, and fabulous.

I listen to mostly lesbian musicians, can you tell?

I have to say, though, that "In or Out" by Ani is my FAVORITE.

You're thinking of "I Was Married," the first track off their album The Con.
