I'm not sure I'm really understanding the concept. xD Is it like a giant Ipod? Are they only gonna keep getting bigger?

(I know this is a horrible movie, but its all I could think of when I saw this xD)

It's supposed to be the link between an iPhone and a laptop. But I have no need for anything between the two, I don't think.

Until they can take the place of paper and write that easily, I don't think tablets will really catch on.

The iPad reminds me of an improved pad for the time of the month. "I used to deal with embarrassing leaks but with the iPad, I stay dry all day! *wink*"

All I wanted from the iPad was one thing and I would have been sold.: pressure-sensitive stylus input for drawing. As it stands, I have absolutely no use for it when my Macbook Pro is perfectly good at surfing the web, music and (gasp!) has pressure-sensitive stylus input through my Wacom tablet.

I wish it would've run OSX instead of the iPhone OS. I already have an iPhone; I don't need an over sized one. :/

    QFT.

This sounds extremely excessive when you consider the state of our economy. Like...what IS it? What does it do that's not a watered-down version of what Macbook can do?

    So uninterested.

  16. It is possibly one of the worst products that Apple has ever released.
There is NO point for this.
It is missing a lot of things I believe and besides that anyone who has an iPod Touch doesn't need it really nor does anyone who has a laptop.
I'm very disappointed in Apple for releasing a product like this.

don't you get it? it's the missing link! it runs i-phone apps, you can read it like a book (think kindle), and you can turn it into a laptop. i don't have an i-phone or a kindle, and instead of buying both, i can get that plus a laptop for $500. that's about as expensive as my crap laptop i have now

You can read books on the iTouch too.

iTampon is the most trending Twitter topic in the US...yikes.

One of my favourite tweets: "Got your period? There's an app for that."

Sure some people can read books on the itouch, but with that dinky little screen i can't get anything out of it. This has a decent sized screen. When you watch movies on it, you aren't squinting all the time to make out the details
