i personally think he is a brilliant actor, and i do quite like the twilight films, but his personality in interviews and so on does resemble that of a mushroom, so tell me:
    what you think of him??

    Brilliant actor or brilliant looking?

I dunno. I still haven't seen Twilight. Don't knock on it. I plan to see it, New Moon, Eclipse and A New Dawn when they all come out in succession. That way I can judge for myself if the acting, storylines etc are good or not.

My friends say the acting is terrible. I personally could only read the first book since it was interesting, but the second book was so damn depressing I could only get halfway through.

Hm, I liked the books, and the movies are okay.
I think he's cute, except not as a pale vampire.

for the most part, that is how you would describe most of the people involved in twilight, books and films.

He is nothing special, but there are worse actors out there.

He was good in Goblet of Fire, but apart of why he is so atrocious in twilight is that the script is terrible. I have seen script writers take a bad book, and translate it to film into a product of much greather depth and value, and I have seen a scriptwriter take a great book and adapt it into utter shit... Here, they took a story that is incredibly flawed and poorly concieved and executed, and turned it into something far worse than it was.

a actor can only do so much with stilted dialogue and nearly non-existant character development.

I just wish he would wash his hair. But kudos to r.pattz hairporn for trying.

I just dont see how people find him physically attractive. I am sure he is a nice person, but my god, it looks like he goes to gay bath houses to have guys jizz in his hair for extra hold and stiffness.

    May I join you?

I didn't think anything bad of him when I first saw him playing Cedric in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, but lost all respect for him as a certain vampire in a certain vampire movie. I understand that he hated the books and the characters (he said so himself), but he was still in the movies, which was a fail on his part :/

I really don't think he knew what he was getting into. Honestly, I did cheer for him when meyer was complaining that he thought he knew edward better than she did, which is perfectly true, because it was his job to fill in all the blanks she left out... such as personality, motive, mental and emotional state, etc. A name, and a sexualily driven physical description does not equal a developed character.

In the interviews I've seen, he's come across (to me at least) as remarkably humble and personable. Maybe a little on the shy or quiet side, but I definitely never got an arrogant vibe from him. Of course, the interviews I saw were soon after the first Twilight movie came out, so perhaps fame has gotten to him.

Personally, I don't get him at all.

On the one hand, to me at least, you could get a better conversation and acting tips from a slice of pie. Plus, he's the face of Twilight, and I won't even start on there because that induces my gag reflex.

On the other, he has spoken publicly about how he doesn't like Twilight and how even meeting Smeyer made him uncomfortable, so that's worth at least a tiny bit of kudos.

I will take this opportunity to declare that New Moon was the most pointless thing I have ever seen. In my life.

  20. I don't want to trash him. Mainly because i think people who try and talk about how ugly certain celebrities are, are really just jealous. I'll just stick too, he isn't my type. But if he floats your boat, thats okay

Don't get me started on Twilight though xDDDD
