OK, for you Musical Theatre buffs, I have recently acquired the new cast recording of Andrew Lloyd Weber's newest musical "Love Never Dies". I like what I hear, however, there's something that is really bugging me. In the movie of the musical, "The Phantom of the Opera" doesn't Christine Daae die at the end? So how can this musical be a sequel if she's dead?

this happens between the time the phantom flees, and the time she dies.

Love Never Dies is set only 10 years after Phantom ended. And...

    BIG SPOILER!!!

Christine is shot by Meg & dies at the end of show.

    END OF SPOILER

    I truly love the CD.

Plus, the movie is not canon to what happens in the play. Just because she was shown dead in the movie doesn't mean she would be in the play.

True. I know she didn't die in the stage production ... I don't know ... I guess its just a strange order of things.

would love to hear the full album before I decide if it is worth it. I loved phantom, and the song I have heard: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CWKjrCHfEik : I enjoyed. I am just a little nervious about if they can top the original.
