    I really love sad songs when I'm feeling down sometimes, so I was curious, what songs that are either sadder songs or downer songs, or just good songs, really, do you love? :slight_smile:

    Normally, I would've posted the original, based upon the subject matter and context and stuff, but the cover of Tool's Wings for Marie Pt 1 by this youtube user (Whom I love to death) takes on a whole new level of emotion and sadness and beauty.

    They're all sad in different ways. and I know Sad Kermit is supposed to be comical, but it legit makes me sad =[ And Cash's cover is like. Words cannot describe :frowning2:

    This is probably my favorite song ever. A little while after discovering the song a few years ago, I found out that she previously released a higher tempo and upbeat version of this song. It was supposed to become her next single, but then a school stabbing occurred in Japan. One of the victims was a very young fan of hers, and so the song was drastically changed to what it is here and Utada dedicated it to her. It just adds to the sad feeling the song already has.

    I may have other songs I listen to at different times of the year and whatnot, but I always go back to this song. It just resonates with me so deeply.

    Oh, the song is also in Japanese, but you don't need to understand the language to feel the emotion. I don't understand it at all.
