omgawd, for 88 years old, her muffin looks really tasty!!!

and if you did not watch last night, you wont get the reference, and SHAME ON YOU!!!!!

This, in my humble opinion, was the best SNL ever. I attribute that in part to not just betty white showing how comedy is done, but also to SNL bringing back alot of the woman of the past ten-fifteen years to revive some of my fav skits and characters. It was the first time I watched an entire episode, and felt every sketch hit the nail on the head, and was spot-on-funny.

I expecially loved the skit where betty was all "if I had a time machine, I would go back, and lez out for 24 hours... you know what I would not miss? BALLS... disgusting things!"

Lindsey lohan, you could learn alot from betty... unlike you, she did not break down and laugh during any of his skits.

oh god, I am so greatful I remebered she was on last night, and stayed up to watch it. It truly was a amazing show.

Yea, I was telling Joey how it's one of the best episodes of it ever, XD

I've never laughed so hard, lol. The muffin skit, then the "She's a LESBIAN" skits.

Yeah first time I have watched a full episode in so many years, and I have not laughed that much at SNL in a very long time! It was great, Betty White is hilarious.

    Because she's a lesbian.

I know someone who was at the rehearsal & they did a Debbie Downer sketch for Rachel. It was cut because of Jay-Z the dumbass singing for EIGHT & A HALF MINUTES!!

I watched the clips on Hulu and there was a Debbie Downer sketch on there.

They used the footage from the rehearsal for it. There was also an unaired Bronx Beat skit.

I loved it! It was one of the few times I actually laughed out loud during SNL. I really enjoyed how they brought all the other funny ladies back too.

As far as Jay-Z is concerned, I'm no fan of his. He did alright though...

Yeah last nights show was hillarious!!! I couldn't wait for it to air on the west coast so I youtubed it and watched most of the sketches early. It was just as funny when I watched the show and I couldnt tell you how many times I rewatched all the videos. I hope they have her back again soon!

I'm kinda sad. I'm hoping to get into acting, but by the time I might actually make it big, my dear Betty will most likely have left us :frowning2:

  13. LOVED IT!

The NPR segment was freakin' hilarious.

"If there's one thing I'm known for, it's my muffin."
"Wow, get a whiff of that."
    "Pretty intense, right?"

    ...

"Wow, the phone lines are really lighting up."

"My muffin hasn't had a cherry since 1939" :roflmao:

I also think this was the first time I have ever enjoyed MacGruber sketches.

Oh I LOVED it! Betty White was fantastic. SNL hasn't been nearly this good in years. I watched the entire show, which I rarely do (except I didn't watch Jay-Z perform. Sorry, I didn't care about him.) My favorite parts were:

Betty: Most people of my generation have dry and crusty or even yeasty muffins.

Molly Shannon: Your muffin just squirted in my mouth.

Anna Gasteyer: I went through a major muffin phase in college.

Betty: I would have guessed that based on your appearance.

    Anna: It's the haircut.

    Macgruber: Will you marry me?

Betty: What the fuck are you on?! Yes!

Girl taking photo in the early 1900's skit: Say cheese!

    Betty: She's a LESBIAN!

    Betty: Wizard. Of. ASS!!

The digital short where the cast members sang "Thank You For Being A Friend" which was the theme song to "The Golden Girls." Then Betty did HER hardcore heavy metal S&M themed version.

Tina Fey: Honestly, I'm just trying to ascertain your status.

Betty: Ass-ertain! That used to be my stripper name!

    :roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:

    I love you Betty! :icon_bigg

One of the reviews posted on yahoos frontpage called it a horrible show -.-

They said it only involved Betty White talking dirty, and trying to rip off the Schweddy Balls skit with her muffin skit.

    -.-

the swecheddy balls skit therefore was a rip off of the npr delicious dish skits that came before that one. I think that was like the 2nd or 3rd one they did.

Honestly, I still believe it was the best one ever. Betty proved that even at 88 and a half, her comic skills and timing are still as sharp as ever, and she has some of the best comedic instincts out there.

Plus... watch golden girls, and you learn they all talked dirty constantly, if you payed attention to what they were saying. There was, of course, some subtlety involved... you as in Soap, Susan Harris shows have a good grasp of innuendo and euthanisems.

^ Yeah, I agree entirely, material with adult words isn't a new concept for Betty. I mean, look at Lake Placid for example.
