Saban buys back 'The Power Rangers' franchise!!

XD Yea, I wasn't gonna post this here D: I already feel like enough of a geek XD

The power rangers fandom is like, going nuts, lol.

I'm personally still curious if said new season will be adapted from Shinkenger or Goseiger. I suspect Shinkenger though.

I'm hoping they're hour-long episodes, otherwise a season fo 20 episodes will be extremely short :S Especially for all the nice debuts in Shinkenger. XD

If they do end up using Shinkenger, and it's only 20 episodes, I could easily see them using the female red ranger suit that Kaoru wore as the main red, >_> But that's just wishful thinking

It's possible they will skip the season, as many people think they will, due to it being extremely rooted into Japanese Society, (Japanese Kanji appear on pretty much everything). But I doubt they will. It's Samurai Rangers... something tells me little kids will love that.

 

Well, i thought they would be re-booting the old franchise =P So in my mind, it only seems natural that such an iconic theme song would be used again, but with a bit of a face-lift.

Dont treat me like im a retard, i watched most of the Power Rangers series when i was a kid xD I still miss the morpher i used to have from Zeo >_>

 

XD I'm not treating you like a retard D: I know a ton of people who really do think that they used the same theme song for every season. XD

And they tried rebooting MMPR. Have you seen the reversioned episodes? They're like, horrible >_<

Granted, that was disney I was mainly referring to the whole new season, not the 700 episodes of reruns they'll be running as well. XD

I see no problem with the theme song - Ron Wasserman - the one who created it - often talks about how he still wants to be involved in PR. He submitted a theme song for every Power Rangers series except RPM, and unless I'm mistaken, SPD is from him as well.

Going back to Saban just pretty much confirms the old theme song will remain untouched in the first few seasons XD

 

back to saban? this can only be good, looking at how things went seemingly terrible when they were run by disney...

And the MMPR Remastered raped my childhood, not stomped on it, XD

And Mystic Force was okay. XD However, I still say RPM is my favorite season, thus far. Unfortunately, due to horrible awareness that there even was a new season, it's ratings were below most things.

I think the best sesion was Time Force, It was Dark, the Villion you did not laugh at because he was unstopable, the QRex rocked, sabans only mistake was wild force, that sucked. I reacon If it went back to saban they would do a better job, Disney did ok but the villans were unscary and you just laught at because they were so pathic and the overdrive rangers are a discrace to the name.
