    Thought I'd see if anyone else was excited about this. (Didn't see a thread, other than the one about Avatar, the 2009 movie :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:)

    They just released a new TV ad promoting it, which shows what Appa will look like, and to be honest, I think he looks perfect, XD

    Anyway, another thing I found funny, was apparently M Night was going to leave Momo out of the movies, but upon telling his children, they stopped talking to him for a week, so he put Momo in.

    They also released a pic of what the Lemurs will look like in the movie: (as well as a still of Appa, which makes him look kinda... meh) (These are iPhone wallpapers, just fyi, :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:)

    So what parts is the movie covering. Cause if there ain't no Bumi then this movie is dead to me.

    This movie is just going to be a summation of the first season, I think. Movies 2 and 3 will cover books Earth and Fire, respectively. I think they met Bumi in the first season, but he doesn't appear in the casting list that I can see. :\

    I'm pumped, but I just have this odd feeling in the back of my head that the movie may be a bit disappointing... or maybe M. Night's big return.

    I was excited about this movie but i have a feeling that while its special effects and what not are going to be amazing, its going to fail when it comes to capturing the original character and feel the tv series had. I think they are going to loose the light quirky humour which was key in the show.

    Oh and Dev Patel should have played Sokka, he looks more like him and can pull of his personality. But I'm not a fan of the casting choices, I don't think they fit.

    and 3D really? im so over 3d movies, they never work or add anything to the actual movie, with maybe the exception of avatar but I never saw it in 3D so I cant say, its just a gimmick now and really no movie will be able to recreate what avatar did because of budget issues. not anytime soon anways

    Completely agree.
    I expect the special effects to be pretty awesome, but otherwise I don't think this movie will do the series any justice. Casting choices really irk me.
