    Both made me want to take a knife and shove it in my ears but I'll go with Death Cab for Cutie because they're closer to good than Shakira is.

    Shakira is automatically hated because she's a pop artist. Death Cab For Cutie are automatically credible for being an alt. rock band, but i find them fucking boring, so Shakira all the way.

    Shakira is epic. And since Loba is in spanish, that makes it even better. And for people who've only heard her english pop stuff listen to some of her spanish stuff.

    Um... Shakira's spanish stuff is amazing. Pienso En Ti, No, Donde Estan Los Ladrones, and Antologia are great songs even for people who can't understand her. Her transition into english just brought some pop songs, but her ballads in spanish are incredible. Listen to them some time.
