Oh man, I bet the moment I post this I am going to think of some other band or want to change the order but here goes:

    1. Gyroscope
    2. Kisschasy
    3. Lifehouse
    4. The Academy Is...
    5. Florence and the Machine

I based these off who I have liked for the longest time without getting considerably bored of them. If I were to write down my current favorites it would be a different list.

Ok my top 5 are normally consistent to these 5, but order can vary from day to day:

    1. The Killers
    2. Muse
    3. Rise Against
    4. Placebo
    5. I Am Giant

Meanwhile when doing this list I try to keep it to bands that are still making music today otherwise the likes of Queen and Pink Floyd just would never leave the top of the list.

I've found that as I get older, I tend to carry my heroes with me. As much as I listen to and love new music (Battles, Holy Fuck, Sleigh Bells...), none of them can dislodge these artists I've listened to for many years.

(I think they're the only five bands I have on my iPod sadly. I'm more of a classical music and solo artist person. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:)

Well I'm not going to segregate my music because you picked bands over singers. And besides, most singers use bands in their music (At least the music I listen to). Music is Music.
