I found this so funny. The whole serise in general and this episode in particular is so amazing. Basicly it was a sketch from a 80's sketch show that was a spoof of bad soap acting and this sketch involves them re-launching it to be new and edgy after it was cancelled in the last episode of the last serise. Once an actor (I want to say it was Alex Karras, but I'm not sure) was on the Johnny Carson show back in the 70s. He was relating a story where he ran into two women and put some moves on them, "but they told me they were lesbians." The whole studio audience gasped at somebody actually saying this word on television, and Johnny Carson himself was flustered how to proceed. But Alex went on, "And so I asked 'So, how are things in Beruit?'." lex
