    I heard that on the radio during the ride home. I was never a big fan of the show; actually I only recall seeing reruns of it once a very long time ago. But she certainly set the precedent by which generations of mothers (as well as a few fabulous gay dads, I'm certain) raised their children.

    May she rest in peace.
